Amy Petrarca debuts: San Francisco Asian Art Museum - TerraCotta Warriors Exhibition, 2013
My Debut at The San Francisco Asian Art Museum - TerraCotta Warriors Exhibition, March 23, 2013!
How exhilatating! I thought this day would never come! I am so excited to present this lecture:
The Fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Three Treasures, Four Levels, Five Elements.
What a tremendous opportunity! I thought I would have SO much time to really flyer, and email, and let everyone know about this special Saturday engagement -- but, the truth is that business has been so wonderful! As always, I am so busy with patient care and correspondance that I really am shocked that this day is finally here!
I love public speaking. It is a challenge and a joy for me. So, when Allison Wyckoff, Public Relations Manager at the San Francisco Art Museum asked me if I knew of anyone who might be interested in speaking to a large audience of museum guests about the basics of Chinese Medicine, I eagerly responded, "How about me?"
Fortunately, she agreed -- and now I will be able to share my thoughts, comments, and education with my community. My favorite is always talking about the basics:
- Yin Yang Theory
- Five Element Theory
- Meridian Theory
As well as:
- Pulse Diagnosis
- Tongue Diagnosis
- Acupuncture Modality
- Botanical Medicine
- Sound Therapy
And really so much more! An hour and a half goes by so fast! I only hope that I will be able to both stimulate the curiousities and interests of the audience as well as answer their questions satisfactorily -- and give ample time for demonstration.
Wish me luck!
Oh.... and if you have a chance -- come by! Lecture starts at 1pm.
