Amy graduated from Auburn University School of Nursing in 1993, and has been practicing as a Registered Nurse for 14 years in Emergency Nursing at some of the most reputable hospitals in the country including: The Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Brigham & Women's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Boston City Medical Center. Amy has been working at San Francisco General Hospital in the Emergency Department since 1999. Reinventing herself as an integrative healer in 2002, Amy spent the next 4 years studying Acupuncture and Herbology at The American College of Traditional Medicine, located on Potrero Hill in San Francisco. In 2006, Amy completed her Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She is licensed by the Board of California in Nursing & Acupuncture, and is certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, & Chinese Herbology. |
